There are hundreds of books out there on Shibari & Rope Bondage.

Serving roles both as a great starting point and supplemental resource to further skills. Here are a few recommended books I’ve read:

"Complete Shibari: Land" - by Douglas Kent
- Great for the basics with many follow along tutorials. Walks through many of the foundationals though a bit dated on information.

"Shibari Suspensions: a step by step guide" - by Gestalta
- Good information with step-by-step tutorials. Focusing on more 'traditional' Shibari.

"Tying and Flying" - by Shay Tiziano
- Self-tie focused, but more in-depth and more up to date. Great resource for both rope bottoms and rope tops.

"Better Bondage for Everybody" - by Evie Vane
- Highly recommend for everyone. A richly detailed resource for all regarding the finer details of rope on the human body. Anatomy, pain processing, rope relations, and overall tying humans.

"Essence of Shibari" - by Shin Nawakiri
- A rich step-by-step tutorial with beginner, intermediate, and advanced ties. As well as a rich history and context for shibari.
